Community Center Trail Workday

What: Volunteer opportunity at the Community Center trail in McKinney, Texas
When: Saturday, November 10th from 8:00AM to 11:00AM. We will start at 8:00AM. Please arrive early by about 20 minutes to sign a waiver and get a safety check.
Where: 2001 S Central Expy, McKinney, TX 75070
What will we be doing: The Community Center has a 1.5 mile nature trail that is entirely maintained by volunteers. The recent rain and flooding has eroded and impacted the trail. Additionally, the trail corridor has not been trimmed or maintained because of the rain. Please arrive about 20min early for a safety orientation, waiver sign in, and team assignments.
What will I need to bring: Long pants, long sleeve shirt, insect repellant, work gloves, and anything for hydration purposes. The McKinney Parks Foundation will be supplying all necessary tools.
