New Trail at Gray Branch Park Volunteer Work Day
Create New Trails at Gray Branch Park
Where: Gray Branch Road in McKinney. parking is .5 miles south of 380.
When: Saturday, February 18th from 8-11 AM
Parking is available .5 miles South of the entrance off 380.
What to bring: bring a signed waiver, click here to fill out and print. Gloves, closed-toe shoes, long sleeves, water bottle.
What we will be doing: Gray Branch Trail is the newest trail we are working to build. Tools include small saws, shears, rakes, leaf blowers, loppers, shovels, etc. This trail will extend from the North Bridge.
We will be splitting into 4 teams that day. Teams will be designated to Trail Leaders. If you are interested in becoming a Trail Leader, please click here to sign up.
Please arrive about 30 minutes early for a safety orientation if you’d like to utilize power tools. Please click here to view our Safety Guidelines.
Please arrive at least 10 minutes early for waiver sign-in and team assignments.
Volunteers can earn service hours for their school group, troop, or club. See a member of the McKinney Parks Foundation to have your volunteer forms signed at the event.
